Anticipation killed the ……..?

So,  I am anticipating a lot tonight….

Theres an important meeting that I want to be at to discuss future plans for North Anderson BC.

There my rehearsal for “The Boyfriend” which Im sure is going to be showing later this summer.  Last time we learned the “Charleston” plus a few other dance steps that I dont know the name of.

Testing for my District is halfway through….maybe everyones nerves will calm down at work.  :)

My car should be out of the shop by 5:00  (I hope so cause I’m not sure how everything else will happen.)

So much life ….so much Anticipation……

Question to answer:  If curiosity killed the Cat, what did Anticipation kill?  (Be creative).

There is probably a wise saying about not being anxious (oh yeah….THAT BOOK again!).  I guess anticipation might fall in that category.  Truthfully,  as things approach that I look forward to,  its hard to stay focused on the job at hand.

I have to remind myself that if I calm down and be patient (arrrrrhgh!)  I can get everything done and done well. Passion can be just as harmful as lack of passion, if we aren’t careful.  It can devour us and cause us to forget about other important things.  The true passions in our lives are jealous.

We need to make sure our TRUE passions are the things that will bring honor to our lives.  Wasted passions cemented in crap will only ultimately  give you a crappy, unsatisfied life.  Spend your time on not only things you love,  but the things you know are important, even if its hard and leads to self-sacrifice.  Self sacrifice is easy when there is passion behind it.

I don’t know….just a thought that I’m working on that may or may not not be coherent…..or maybe I just REALLY want that car back…!!!!
